At Comfort Keepers, we strive to provide your loved ones with the best 24 hour home care possible. This is why we developed the SafetyChoice® Centralized Monitoring Station and have our representatives standing by 24- hours a day ready to respond immediately to any and all alarms or warnings emitted by your loved one's SafetyChoice devices.
Our SafetyChoice in-home care devices include:

- smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- bedside pressure mats and motion detectors
- medication management solutions
What makes our 24 hour home care devices and monitoring station special is that we have met all the standards set out by the Underwriters’ Laboratories and Factory Mutual. Our SafetyChoice Centralized Monitoring Station operators are always available and monitoring your loved one's devices, making sure they are safe and giving you peace of mind.
With the help of our devices, your loved one will be able to stay independent for a very long time. Although we have a number of devices, one thing ties them all together - they are all straightforward, responsive, easy to use and reliable.
When a monitoring device is activated, like for example the Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) - which is worn on the wrist or as a necklace - your loved one will be connected with the push of a button to our SafetyChoice Centralized Monitoring Station. At that point, once they are connected to your loved one, our representative will make a decision on who would be best to contact. Depending on the situation, our representative could contact a range of individuals starting with you, emergency medical personnel, your loved one's neighbor, a friend, the fire department or the police department. Our representative will also stay on the line with your loved one until they know help has arrived.
The SafetyChoice Centralized Monitoring Station is equipped with the latest technology which automatically pulls up essential and detailed information about your loved one for the operator once an in-home care device is activated. This enables our operators to provide emergency responders with your loved one's medical conditions, age, preferred hospital, or other special instructions.
Comfort Keepers also offers an optional service to call your loved one a number of times a day to make sure everything is ok. This may be a feature you would like to consider as part of your loved ones 24 hour home care package.
